The Opportunity: As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be able to enjoy building and maintaining strong relationships with our NHS and Private Sector Clients by sourcing and providing the very best Locum Doctor candidates. The Scottish Nursing Guild is very excited to launch its expansion into the Locum market and is looking for an experienced, passionate recruitment consultant to drive our growth. This role offers an opportunity to join a start-up with the dedicated backing of a leading UK recruitment organisation. What you’ll be doing: • Build, manage and maintain a database of clients and candidates • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets • Get the word out about our business and its values • Ensure candidate compliance (checking references, CRB, etc.) • Canvass for new candidates • Develop and maintain relationships with new partners • Write job adverts • Support the growth and expansion of our practice by attending workshops, education fairs, and talking about our recommend a friend scheme • Visit clients and meet with candidates • Help drive our vision of becoming a market-leading consultancy by providing a service that emphasises quality and efficiency Requirements: • At least 12 month’s recruitment or sales experience, preferably in the health care sector • Success-driven and able to achieve and exceed targets • Self-motivated, reliable and accountable • Able to manage high volumes of contractors • Strong academic background What we offer: At The Scottish Nursing Guild we invest in you from day one.
