Job Description

SThree want to be the most respected and highly valued international, specialist staffing services business. About SThree Group Like all great ideas, four friends had a great idea to combine their experience and we founded Computer Futures because of the skills shortage within IT and propositioned ourselves as a business that really understands the sector. Fast-forward to 2015 and we have grown our business to become the world's largest Recruitment provider. We are now the only Recruitment employer to be awarded as one of 'The Times Top 50 Employers of Women 2014 and 2015'. We are a team of 2700 across 45 offices in 15 countries; we have great open plan offices in some of the most incredible locations such as Times Square, overlooking Sydney Harbour and just off Europe's busiest shopping street, Oxford Street London. About the job You'll be joining a team working within the Digital IT space, working closely alongside one of our most established recruiters. It is a brand new market which requires you to be able to build relationships with clients who may not have been aware of Real Staffing prior to your introduction. Your job as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant will be to meet customers regularly whether its clients or candidates to build relationships and strengthen your network. You'll be meeting frequently so the ability to travel is required. You'll also meet them at industry events and organise your own events too to demonstrate your knowledge as a market leader. Your job will also be to work with a blend of existing accounts and also developing new relationships so if you're the kind of person that doesn't like building relationships from scratch then this isn't the job for you. In order to build these, you will have to make cold calls using business development techniques to get through to the main customers that are going to give you the vacancies you need. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you are in complete control of the end-to-end cycle of the recruitment process which will include sourcing the vacancies and candidates for them, managing the interview process and helping the negotiation of offers and closing the deal. What skills are needed for the job? Let's be honest with you, there is no proven formula to what makes a great Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Sales experience isn't always needed to be a success; the desire to make something that you can be accountable for is what is important. For this particular role, we are seeking: * First-class Customer Service skills and understand the value of building long term relationships. * You'll have experience with, provable evidence of, handling complaints, objections and sometimes challenging situations with customers. * Proven experience of achieving targets, deadlines or goals and enjoy delivering on the service you provide. * Ability to demonstrate that you have a personal goal you wish to achieve. If you don't think this role is for you, don't worry! We're hiring many other Trainee level roles also, just check out our careers page. Salary and benefits We pay a very competitive base salary as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant which has uncapped commission with no thresholds to work to. Everything you generate, you get paid for. Your basic rises with each promotion but will start from £18,000 and you will be set a target from day 1 to work towards. Here are a list of the other benefits you can get: * Health insurance, * Pension, * Bike to work scheme, * Flexible working hours after 12 months, * Share Scheme, * Life Assurance, * Employee Discount Scheme, * A buddy system throughout your career at SThree, * 23 days annual leave increasing with a day each year, * 2 CSR days a year which you can use to support a charity of your choice doing an activity of your choice, * Global Mobility Programme - you can move to any of our 19 offices worldwide when you reach senior consultant level. What happens when you start? You start with a 12 week on-boarding plan for your first 3 months which takes you through each day which we tailor to your learning style to ensure that you get the best out of the training. We're slightly biased but we can safely say our world class training programme is one of the best in the market which you get from the day you start that goes on right through your career. During your first 3 months, you also get a full four day induction course which is highly interactive and supported by a very advanced online training system. Alongside this, you'll get weekly team training sessions, 1 on 1 coaching sessions, Desk side coaching and role play sessions and Personal development plans for every consultant so you know where your career is heading towards at all times. You will be surrounded by people who will genuinely want you to succeed so will get help and support every day from your team mates and management who are very hands on.
