Travail Education are an established Education Recruitment specialist supplying Primary, Secondary and Special Needs Teachers and Teaching Assistants to schools throughout Lincolnshire and neighbouring counties and wish to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant for their offices in Grantham. Travail Education have a strong market presence and are well known within the industry but we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant with drive and enthusiasm who can help increase sales whilst maintaining our excellent customer service. What sets us apart from the competition is that we only trade for 39 weeks per year based around the academic year, so if you struggle to find suitable, cost effective childcare during the school holidays…….problem SOLVED! Your duties will include: Building strong working relationships with schools and teachers in a designated area Supplying Teachers on a day to day, long term or permanent basis Meeting and exceeding financial targets Developing your knowledge on legislation and education safeguarding procedures Attracting business with new clients using a range of sales and marketing techniques including client visits Placing informative and attractive job adverts across a range of multimedia Interviewing Teachers and Teaching Assistants Hours of work are 07.30 until 4.30 Monday to Friday during term time, you will be supplied with a company mobile iPhone with access to emails as you will be expected to deal with any client or candidate enquiries. You will also be expected to work on a rota basis dealing with any calls outside of normal business hours. Experience required: Ideally you will have recruitment experience, however a minimum of 3 years’ experience in another sales/customer service industry will also be considered as training is provided Experience of running a Temp or Permanent desk Strong communication skills both verbal and written Proven ability to work and exceed in a target driven environment Highly competent with IT System to include maintaining databases, Outlook, Excel etc. Excellent customer service skills Preferably an owner/driver What’s in it for you: Apart from 13 weeks off, you can expect to work in a friendly and supportive office environment, full training is provided and you have access to a company pool vehicle after probation if required. From a long term perspective there may well be the opportunity for the right consultant to move into more of a sales management role. We reimburse any petrol expenses and of course there is a commission scheme in place to top up your basic salary with no threshold, so you earn on every placement! Basic salary is £20,000 - £24,000 PA pro rata (£15,000 - £18,000 PA) depending on experience.
