Recruitment Consultant – Apprenticeship Sector Location: Derby (Office based) Salary: £22-23k + bonus + benefits This is an exciting opportunity to work for a vibrant and successful apprenticeship provider in an office-based recruitment role focusing on business development Great bonus earning potential and progression opportunities!! Summary of the role A dynamic and ambitious national training provider is currently looking for somebody with experience of recruitment within the apprenticeship sector. The key objective is to engage with small to medium sized companies to promote apprenticeships and secure vacancies. With the support of other team members you will then place learners into these apprenticeship placements. This is an office based role with the majority of the activity via telephone & email. Key Responsibilities • To build strong relationships with local employers and sell the features and benefits of the apprenticeship scheme and secure job vacancies. • To liaise with external organisations such as schools, colleges, Connexions and Job Centre Plus to encourage learner referrals • To manage the end to end recruitment process • Provide IAG to 16-18 yr olds and 19+ learners and diagnose the most suitable learning route • Matching young people to apprenticeships and other programmes • To work closely with sales team to ensure commercial business opportunities are maximised Key Applicant Requirements • Experience in a telephone based recruitment or resourcing role is essential • Experience and good understanding of the funded training sector is essential • A tenacious, target-focused approach is essential • IAG experience is desirable
