Diverse Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading apprenticeship provider based in Sheffield. Due to growth and expansion we are recruiting for two Recruitment Consultants to join a fast paced and developing team. This role will see you involved in the recruitment of candidates and the placement of apprentices with employers. You will also seek new clients wishing to take on apprentices and build effective and successful relationships with employers. It is a varied and interesting position incorporating the sourcing and shortlisting of suitable candidates, managing both employers and candidate’s expectations and matching their requirements, whilst working to agreed deadlines and targets. The successful candidates will undertake the following responsibilities; • Deliver recruitment plans against the requirements of the commissioning document. • Maintain a live record of apprenticeship applicants who do not have an apprenticeship. • Support employers in selecting apprentices • Use all available means, including previous selection processes, CRM and so on to identify applicants for apprenticeships across all age ranges • If TSC does not have a suitable ready candidate, advertise Apprenticeship Opportunities on NAS and elsewhere as appropriate. • Liaising with the client from the outset – verifying information on the vacancy and completing any missing sections. • Posting the vacancy on the National Apprenticeship website. • Managing the vacancy online, e.g. filtering, downloading applications and forwarding suitable candidates to the client. • Managing the client: keeping in regular contact, updating on applicants and maintaining a good working relationship. • Arranging interviews and completing relevant paperwork. • Liaising with candidates regarding interviews. • Following up with clients and candidates alike after interview. • Letting candidates have updates on position after interview. • Completing confirmation paperwork following placement. • Producing management reports In addition to the above our ideal candidates will also possess the following attributes; Proven track record of ability in networking and business development Capacity to develop an extensive network of regional business and industry Highly motivated, able to implement strategic aims in promoting and achieving business growth Strong stakeholder and customer management skills Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions Positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation Excellent organisational and time management skills A positive attitude to dealing with people Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual We are looking for experienced recruiters who have previous experience of working within an apprenticeship, Traineeship and NVQ environment.
