The Company: * On Target Recruitment is one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment agencies, with the business having grown significantly since its creation in 1994. * We started out as sales recruiters but we have enhanced our service and now recruit Sales, Marketing, Technical and Commercial roles across our specialist sectors: Engineering, Construction, Medical * We place all levels of personnel, up to Director level, across the UK and Internationally, from our offices in Chessington, Surrey * On Target Recruitment are members of the Association of Professional Staffing Companies and as such adhere to a quality driven code of conduct * This a chance to join a culture and environment where people want to be and an organisation that provides full training and support The Role: * A Business Development Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, ultimately looking to establish a portfolio of key accounts within one of our niche markets through effective selling * Ultimately you will be looking to ‘feed vacancies’ to a team of consultants and resourcers who will source candidates; as such you will work in a close knit team environment * You will be trained and supported in all aspects of the role – including canvassing clients, taking down job specifications, closing for commitment to growing and managing key accounts through to learning how to find, identify and interview candidates and manage the interview/offer process The Ideal Person: * Intelligent. Degree educated or of degree calibre. No formal education is required but can you convince us of your commercial intelligence? * Curiosity.
