Job Title: Recruitment Consultant
Responsible To: Recruitment Manager
Summary of main responsibilities This is a proactive role where your focus will be on identifying apprenticeship vacancies with new businesses and providing them with suitable apprentices around the UK.
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and gaining new clients /accounts across multiple sectors. You will develop relationships with employers and learners to achieve your monthly targets and key performance indicators. You will play a key role in meeting our growth plans.
•Being part of an enthusiastic, fun, dynamic sales team
•Apprenticeship Levy and reform training provided
•Working closely with a Learning Support Advisor
•Generate apprenticeship starts with SME’s and to raise the Babington Profile through a professional and confident approach to all parties
•Blend of hot/warm/cold calling to engage prospective apprentices using a variety of channels
•Maintain and grow a pipeline of vacancies to, to place predominantly, 16-18 years olds in apprenticeships
•Responsible for ensuring prospective apprentices are eligible for programmes and suitable for employment.
•Develop and maintain a pipeline of employers wishing to engage an apprentice
•Maintain the relationship between employers to maintain repeat business
•Responsible for ensuring prospective apprentices are eligible for funded programmes and suitable for employment
•Establish interviews for apprentices with employers via a matching service and from feedback from Learning Support Advisor
•Autonomy to manage your own diary.
•Adherence to KPI’s and Targets both individually and team based
•Flexible approach to daily tasks and adherence to standards with a can do attitude and a keen eye for details
•Any other duties which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Babington Business College and is within the remit of the post.
The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients, staff and other Babington Group stakeholders. Some work is of a confidential nature and information gained must not be communicated to other persons except in the recognised course of duty. The post holder must meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act at all times.
