Job Description

Recruitment Consultant (Education) London Job Function: The consultants will be working with clients, building rapport and relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs. They will also be expected to attract candidates by drafting adverts, in addition to networking, headhunting and chasing referrals. The consultants will screen candidates, conduct interviews, follow up background checks, and match the candidates to a client booking. They will be available to advise candidates on salary levels, training requirements and career opportunities. Responsibilities of a Recruitment Consultant: • Working towards various targets. • Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment. • Using sales, business development, networking, and marketing techniques in order to attract business from client companies and build relationships with them. • Preparing CVs and correspondences to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants. • Carry out successful client sales and service visits. • Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media. • Resourcing candidates for designated areas. • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client. • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities of the role, the salary, and benefits. • Informing candidates about the results of their interviews. • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression. • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates. • Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.
