Job Description

We have a position for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our busy harbour side office. The secondary desk is very well established and we need someone to drive it forward through sales and service calls, visits and growing the relationships already established in the 9 years Education People have been in business- its a fun sector to be in! we have an immediate vacancy. hours are 7am- 5pm M-F term time and reduced to a 5 hour working day during the school holidays. 31 days holiday a year, dress down Fridays, breakfast club, lunch treats, generous salary+ bonus structure. Our office is next to the SS Great Britain, M Shed and the very trendy harbour side- lots of cafes, shops and cool vibes! there currently is free parking locally too. OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To ensure profitable running of the Education business, in line with company objectives, through: •Sales •Marketing •Recruitment •Servicing RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales: •To generate new temporary business through telephone and face to face sales activity by ensuring that the Company’s minimum standards are equalled and exceeded. •Run and grow your own desk, by maintaining and maximising existing business potential by investing additional areas of need for the Company’s services during all telephone and face to face client contact. •To exploit potential business opportunities including leads and referrals and to promote the full recruitment services offered by the company. •Making client service calls and to take the opportunity to develop business in addition to consolidating the relationship and monitoring the service provided. •visit clients (schools) to further develop relationships •Adhere to Company terms and condition of business. Recruitment: •To ensure an adequate pool of suitable supply staff/ teachers/instructors. •Attract quality teachers/instructors through a planned strategy including: •Advertising, Promotional activities, recommendation, recruitment fairs •Exploiting all existing resources within the office in order to fill temporary bookings •Assess the suitability of teachers/instructors for registration. •Register, interview education staff/ teachers/instructors. •Maintain regular contact with clients and candidates •Respond to clients requests within the minimum time possible. •Follow up on interviews arranged and manage the post-interview process. General: •Keep the manager informed about any developments, trends or problems relating to clients or locum teachers/instructors. •Assist with ad-hoc projects, campaigns and assignments as required. •Provide support to other offices within team as directed. •Adhere to any Company policies, systems or procedures and codes of practice to which the Company subscribes. •Facilitate effective communication between senior management and staff. •Take shared responsibility for the general running of the office. •Perform any other duties as required from time to time by management. •Manage the on-call phone when required. please send your CV if you have the experience and this role appeals to you.
