We are a successful and growing recruitment business and we need to appoint 6 new BDMs (Business development managers) for our Business to business recruitment teams. It’s a salaried position offering a starting wage of around £19,000-£22,000 initially, but this will increase with experience to £27k then £30k, £35k, £40k and finally £50k basic (This is based on being a recruiter) The position also offers monthly commission paying up to 25% commission on all revenue you bring in, pension, laptops and all the usual things….. Your OTE is typically double your basic with their top achievers earning in excess of £100k+ Only for winners wanting a professional sales career……… We are looking for people who want to develop a long term career in Sales, with ideally some experience already gained in some sort of sales capacity whether it be Telesales, Sales Support or working in a B2B sales environment. We will of course consider all applicants from any background at all, so long as they can demonstrate a strong understanding of a B2B sales process and what it takes to succeed in sales. Perhaps you can point to other personal achievements that show your ability to succeed within sales. We are a services based business working across the UK and internationally and each person hired will receive a detailed company induction, thorough training in sales and account management, before being given the opportunity to work with an experienced member of the team for 3-6 months. During this time you will be shown the ropes, shadowing an already successful recruiter in a specialised field of recruitment, learning on the job and developing your skill set ready to embark on your own successful career. How will it work for you ………… Once you have passed the initial training, you will be given your own territory within in Sales, Engineering or Print / Packaging recruitment, with existing customers, you will also market map this area adding more potential clients with aim of identifying (Apply online only) prospects (target) businesses. The reality is you will be working much more closely with 20-30 of these and although your role will start with new business inquiries, it will quickly develop into a more account management type of approach. You will be required to pitch the company’s services to existing and new clients on a regular basis (over the phone and face to face), then research and match the appropriate candidates from the company’s range of networks. You will be working in a vibrant and busy sales environment with approximately 40 other sales staff. The role is 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You may need to do some extra hours in the week to stay on top of your sales pipeline and dealing with candidate inquiries. Brand new offices……amazing fit out, it’s not all work work work! The business is moving to brand new offices in the centre of Wilmslow next to all the bars, restaurants and coffee houses, and the fit out is themed on a norther quarter style bar! As well as a state of the art sales floor, the office provides staff with pool tables, break out areas, reception that is an actual bar, game stations and wide screen TV screens for socialising during and after work, so it’s not all work work work!! Culture……’s one of our biggest selling points The company staff ages range from mainly around 23-33 but all consideration is given to all age groups. The business does a lot of social activities outside of work hours ranging from company nights out, directors lunches, race days, team building events, office incentives, games, quizzes and the occasional international break or conference. But let’s be straight with each other…….. Let’s be honest: the earning potential is really fantastic, it’s fun and lively environment but it’s a job you really need to be dedicated to. Sales people who have joined the business in the last 18 months are earning circa £50-60,000 with one of the new guys taking home £18,000 for ones months’ pay.
