The role

To support business growth, the owners of BeecherMadden require an interim / contract business development / sales professional, to drive forward existing and new client development for interim / contract opportunities with UK and European clients.

  • Generating a personal yearly recruitment revenue of £150,000+
  • Generating a team revenue exceeding £750,000+
  • Existing and new client business development
  • Building a professional candidate and client relationships
  • Exploring new recruitment products
  • Building pools of niche talent
  • Working with the delivery team in identifying candidates
  • Expanding the team to specialise in all areas of resilience & security
  • Driving forward the practice
  • Working with other business managers growing BeecherMadden
  • Management leadership and reporting to business owners
  • Training, mentoring and leading recruitment consultants


Experience and skills required

  • Recruitment experience or sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Understanding of the recruitment process, with a desire to focus on business development
  • Leadership experience, able to motivate a team
  • IT competent
  • Degree educated desirable
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Sales skills, with an ability to hit targets
  • Ability to build relationships with existing and potential clients, with senior job seekers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Driven by personal and team success, with high motivation levels
  • Desire to progress and be a part of a growing, successful business
  • A strong grasp of numbers and managing budgets
  • A passion to build a function, drive forward a business and share success with others
