Ever feel like you got into recruitment to help people? But it doesn’t quite seem that way? If you really want to make a difference, and you like the idea of making a positive impact to the lives of young people, this could be for you. You will be supporting disadvantaged young people across Greenwich, Bromley and Bexley to access employment, training and education. The manager for this project is really supportive. No micro managing. Lots of training. And they think a recruiter would be great for this role. You will be working for a London based regeneration charity. They are delivering a project where you will reach out to young people to bring them onto programme (this means building up a network of referral partners such as colleges, youth centres and JCP’s). You will then provide advice and guidance to get them focused on the next stage of their life. You will support them into short entry level training programmes, which could be linked to customer service, business admin or horticulture, whilst also delivering one to one, and group work sessions to young people to develop employment skills, such as CV writing, job searching, interview preparation. Finally, you will link them into longer term education or employment – making a real difference to young people who need that support. Please apply via this advert.
