We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Recruitment Consultant to join a growing recruitment consultancy in Farlington, Portsmouth.   We are currently expanding our Engineering and Manufacturing Division and require an enthusiastic, target driven and ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Recruitment Consultant.   Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months recruitment experience or come from a sales background either face to face or telephone.   In return you will be rewarded with a starting salary of between £14,000 - £16,000 and an excellent uncapped commission structure.   Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm with an early 4.00pm finish every other Friday. We are a modern and vibrant company that offers career progression and fun environment.   We work with a wide variety of established clients across the UK and it’s your role as the Recruitment Consultant to match a candidate's skills with a client’s requirement and manage the whole process in-between. A number of tools are available to meet these needs including our in house database, job boards and social media platforms to source candidates and advertise vacancies.   Trainee Recruitment Consultant / Recruitment Consultant Role:-   Manage the recruitment process from search/application through to a candidates first day. Ensure that you build strong relationships with both your candidates and your clients on a regular basis. Contact suitable candidates for current live roles and qualify them over the phone. Contact existing and new companies to retrieve the latest information on current vacancies, gain new vacancies and continue to build relations whilst promoting the company brand. Search new candidates and contact previous candidates to keep them informed of the latest vacancies available. Match skills and attributes to both candidates and client needs ensuring relevant CVs are sent to companies. Manage your diary and emails, ensuring everyone is kept up to date with the latest information.   Role Requirements and Qualifications:-   Confident individual with good communication and written skills Confident telephone manner, Computer literate, will be using Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel. Attributes such as negotiation skills, sales ability, tenacity, time management and problem solving skills are amongst the most important to be a successful consultant. Good administration skills and accurate data entry Ideally you will have a minimum of 6 months recruitment experience or come from a sales background either face to face or telephone.   Package:-   - Starting salary £14,000 - £16,000 - Excellent uncapped bonus structure - Your birthday off! - Early finish every other Friday
