We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Ulverston, Cumbria. This may also suit a relocator. Experience of the Social Care Sector is not essential, however if you have been a Registered Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager or Care Coordinator, then this experience would lend itself well to the role. However, the main skills and experience we are looking for is an outgoing personality, very strong telephone skills, excellent telephone manner and the ability to conduct an hour-long telephone interview with a candidate. Health & Social Care Jobs specialise in finding and sourcing candidates for permanent full-time positions working with our clients who are providers of care services nationally. The role will involve telephone interviewing candidates at all levels within the care sector from Support Worker to managerial level. As a Recruitment Consultant, your daily routine would involve: - Looking at applications and determining suitability. - Speaking to providers looking to recruit and getting a good brief to enable you to interview well and to find the right person. - Identifying any potential vacancies and business leads. - Telephone interviewing candidates, sometimes for up to an hour or more. - Writing up your interview notes and sending them to the end employer. - Obtaining feedback from the employer, keeping your candidates informed if they have been successful/unsuccessful. - General day to day administration. Person Specification (must have some social care background): - You will need to be very confident on the telephone. - Experience of working in an office in an administrative role. - Extensive experience of dealing with customers on the telephone. - An excellent knowledge of the social care sector. - You will be proactive and can work autonomously.
