Recruitment Consultant £30k - £35k basic OTE £75k+ Recruitment Consultant with experience of 360 recruitment in the engineering arena required to head up a division for a Brighton based firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruitment consultant with the desire to progress their career and looking to achieve more. With plans of expansion, this division requires a competent and passionate recruitment consultant to work with high tech start-ups and SMEs. Building their own desk & aspiring to be part of a growing and established company. If you have experience specialising in areas that include the following then please get in touch for an initial informal chat: * Special purpose machinery * Automotive – electric EV / hybrid * Aerospace / avionics * Automation and Controls * Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) The role requires the Consultant to establish and develop market networks. Applying a proactive strategic approach to building a solid client base. Key responsibilities * Identifying and developing businesses * Networking with industry specialists and candidates * Maintaining a candidate database (Access / RDB) * Pull well qualified vacancy from your specialism * Network and advertise to attract the right quality and calibre candidate, making use of professional social media sites, database and targeted advertising * Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunity * Managing the process through the interview stages * Expertly manage offers and follow up through duration of notice period and candidate probation with client * Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidate * Offering CV, interview and general career advice * Networking to build business opportunities What do we require from you? * Articulate communication skills * Ability to develop relationships with people * Desire to develop yourself * Ambitious to be successful * Passion, motivation and adaptability In return you will receive all the support and training required to help assist getting the best from you.
