Job Description

This newly created Recruitment Co-Ordinator post will enable the successful candidate to develop a robust and effective internal recruitment service to managers across the business. Using your exceptional organisational, coordination and communication skills, you will lead on all recruitment and selection activity, working closely with hiring managers to ensure successful outcomes. You will act as the point of contact for applicants, guiding them through the candidate journey. The postholder will have the opportunity to join hiring managers in the interview process, which means you will need to happy travelling to our offices across Devon and Cornwall (vehicle provided). This employer invests heavily in their staff, and may be able to offer study support for CIPD, for the right candidate (after qualifying period) Responsibilities of the Recruitment Coordinator: * Management of the end to end recruitment process * Liaise with line managers on recruitment and resourcing needs * Maintain accurate and consistent job descriptions, create effective job adverts * Develop effective use of social media for candidate attraction * Day to day management, and development, of the website careers page * Develop new and innovative methods to improve and increase candidate attraction methods * Act as the main point of contact for all recruitment and new starter related queries, coordinating interview dates and times * Support line managers by shortlisting and conducting initial telephone assessments, attending face to face interviews as needed * To manage recruitment campaigns within the required timescales – including apprenticeships * Manage and maintain effective professional supplier relationships * Manage new starter paperwork, pre-employment checks and keep in touch leading up to start date * Working closely with the HR Manager and wider team, working on new projects, recruitment fairs, talent acquisition and general improvements to the company wide recruitment process Requirements of the Recruitment Co-ordinator: * Previous experience in an internal recruitment or HR Co-ordination role is preferred * Systems oriented, IT Competent, able to learn new systems * Pro-active, use initiative, lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities * Accuracy and excellent attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Responsive to customer needs, build rapport and develop internal relationships * Commercial and business awareness * Confidentiality, discretion Great opportunity for a super organised and efficient individual with proven office-based coordination skills (preferably within recruitment or resourcing) to join this prestigious business at a time of growth.
