Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice to join our bright and bubbly organisation in Cheltenham. Although we are a relatively new business we have demerged from a highly successful recruitment firm who have proven track history in developing apprentices in the recruitment industry … our last 3 have now got very successful careers within the industry. You will work alongside 1 previous apprentice who has now been working in the industry for 3 years. In addition to this you will have the full support of one of the Directors of the business who has trained and mentored the previous incumbents to their current levels of success. This is a terrific opportunity for someone who wants a career in the ever changing world of recruitment! It is fast paced, full of challenges and no 2 days are the same. It requires huge levels of commitment as sometimes you will have to work above and beyond to make sure your clients and candidates get the exceptional service we pride ourselves on. Key responsibilities will be; resourcing for new candidates in line with Job Descriptions; book candidates in for registration/pre interviews and send required emails to candidates; assist with registering candidates; source leads from candidates and competitor google reviews; post jobs to job boards; add new companies and contacts onto CRM system, add call backs; search job boards for vacancies suitable for registered candidates, add to CRM system ready to make SPEQ calls; format CV’s to be sent to clients; update jobs on the CRM system and ensure all information is up to date for both candidates and clients; ensure the CRM and any other system used is compliant with relevant legislation and the Company’s practices and processes; Create mailshots with the Marketing & Brand Manager; make sure the Marketing & Brand Manager has new jobs for social media; open and close the offices at the start/end of the day; scan an file all required documents correctly, including uploading candidate photos; ensure efficient diary management, and provide any requisite paperwork for all diary entries; Provide a warm welcome, both on the telephone and in person, to all visors. Offer suitable hospitality as required; undertake daily audits of registration, and ensure all failed audits are rectified; any ad hoc project work; ensure you comply with the Company’s policies and procedures in accordance with the Company’s defined standards; attend company meetings and training courses as required by the Directors; carry out other duties as the Directors may reasonably require. The role does involve some administration but the main duties will be sales and customer service focused so we do need someone who wants to excel in this type of arena. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???
