Job Description

The Role The role is 40 hours per week during core office hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm) the department is fully functional 24/7, 365 days a year so we also require flexibility to work weekends and out of hours from home during unsociable hours to cover the rota. The role is fixed term for 6 months with the possibility of becoming permanent. The ideal candidate will have the following: - Previous experience of working in either an on call service or in a fast paced recruitment department. - Excellent communication skills - Good computer and data inputting skills - Enthusiasm, drive and be self-motivated - - Be able to multi-task, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines - Excellent organisational skills -Must be extremely flexible - be able to work in a faced paced office environment and on own initiative The role is mostly office based with a minimum of 3 to 4 days in the office, flexibility to work at home there will be weekends and out of hours work during unsociable hours to cover the rota. The Organisation: We are the largest national provider of support for people with complex and challenging behaviours associated with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health illness and neurological conditions. With over 250 services, we support people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and also in residential care. Based in our head office in Potters Bar, we have an exciting opportunity either within the team to support the provision of temporary agency staff to our national services. You will be the designated point of contact for services who require agency staff cover for daily emergency and weekly rota shifts. To build relationships with our preferred supplying Agencies, Home Managers, Deputy Managers, Locality Managers and Operations Directors. To ensure the smooth running and quality of the service, offering advice, guidance and solutions in relation to the supply of agency staff. You will be responsible for managing requests for temporary agency staff from our care homes across the UK. Liaising with employment agencies and organising temporary staff bookings on an automated booking system.
