Job Title:Recruitment Manager Responsible To: Business Development Director Department Commercial Purpose: You will be responsible for a team of recruitment consultants and learning support advisers who drive Babington’s apprenticeship and traineeship provision. You will be responsible for developing team members and their practices through coaching and mentoring techniques as well as making sure each team member delivers start profiles against the company business plan. Key Responsibilities Performance To provide leadership & effective line management within the team by delivering business objectives. Driving individual performance against KPIs; including the following: -Responsible for 7 Recruitment Consultants and 5 learner support advisors -Ensure the team meet all performance metrics and KPIs -Provide detailed and accurate reporting to Business Development Director to identify performance and opportunity trends -Drive down early leavers by developing quality employer opportunities People To plan and manage your resource effectively, to allow you to deliver the above performance; -Coach, mentor and develop your team members to operate in the most effective way. -Empower team members to problem solve, see opportunities and act on them. -Hold effective monthly 121’s with team members -Identify personnel risks and contingency plan with the Business Development Director, including absence, leavers etc. -Ensure a suitable rewards and recognition package is in place and offered. Strategy -Develop a professional and commercial environment. -Understand and communicate your team objectives and the methods by which to meet these. -To become an effective and autonomous owner of your business unit. -To actively seek marketing opportunities and analyse the work of competitors. Skills and Experience •Proven recruitment and managerial experience •Excellent track record of coaching and mentoring and developing teams •Self-critical, with a view to always improve solutions and processes •Ability to assimilate sales strategies and offerings to market •Proactive, highly motivated with an enthusiasm to meet target requirements •Ability to multi task and work on a number of projects simultaneously •Excellent communication skills, particularly listening •Experience/understanding of Apprenticeships, Skills and Commercial training •Successfully meeting and managing challenging deadlines •Stakeholder engagement •Presenting propositions/solutions Competencies •Managing Self & Others - the ability to take responsibility for own or employees’ performance, by having objectives and expectations, tracking progress against the objectives, giving timely feedback, and using performance management structure. •Working Together - we form positive, professional and trusting relationships to deliver business objectives.
