Job Description

Do you have recruitment experience and excellent organisational skills? Do you have experience in administering payroll? Are you able to start a new role in March, and work until mid August (5 month contract)? This is a varied, interesting role in an educational environment recruiting for seasonal staff. The working hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-17:30 with the possibility of having to work the occasional weekend, when required. The position involves the following.. -advertising job roles -sourcing and interviewing applicants -attending recruitment fairs at universities -coordinating safeguarding and specific online training for all staff -co-organising training for management staff -performing background checks and criminal checks of all staff -providing administrative support for the recruitment process -Administration of payroll and HR support -Car driver needed due to location of business You will need to be able to work in a busy environment with a heavy workload. It is important to be able to understand how to prioritise your workload, taking care of emails, DBS checks, updating payroll, processing applicants and interviewing candidates. You must also be able to adapt to change as throughout the build up to the summer there may be changes to contracts, employees etc which needs to be handled You must also be competent on a computer as the application process is all online and you will be required to navigate through reports, applicants and update spreadsheets
