Background: Parkway Engineering Services Limited is a long established supplier of technical personnel in Aerospace; Defence; Rail; and other engineering sectors. We are looking for an exceptional individual to manage our sales office. Profile: The successful candidate will be well presented, highly motivated and articulate with excellent interpersonal skills. They will be adaptable with good computer literacy and the confidence to thrive in a high-pressure professional environment. The candidate will ideally have 5+ years recruitment experience and will be seeking a new challenge to test their skills to the highest level. Essential skills: • To work under pressure and to target. • To drive the generation of new business. • To ensure the highest standards of delivery for existing business. Duties: The role can be summarised as the management of the complete process of placing permanent or contract candidates with new or established clients and consists of the following activities: • Oversee the development of both new and existing client relationships for the supply of both contract and permanent engineers. • Oversee the canvassing of clients for current and future contract and permanent requirements, ensuring that all telephone canvassers obtain a high quality of information. • Ensure that existing clients are constantly developed so that no opportunities are lost. • Manage the database of contract and permanent candidates ensuring frequent contact and up-to-date information. • Effectively manage an advertising and marketing budget in order to secure the best candidates in the market. • Take responsibility for the achievement of agreed targets such as CV dispatch, interviews and placements. • Oversee administrative tasks to ensure all relevant paperwork is completed. • Take responsibility for setting negotiated contract parameters with both clients and candidates, comprising rates, length of contract and limit of liability. • Act as the senior interface with both clients and contractors, which will include frequent travel to client sites. • Ensure the business maintains a high level of activity and meets short and long term targets. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure the provision of a service in keeping with our company’s high standards.
