Recruitment Manager 12 Month Fixed Term Post (with potential for role to be extended) Role Location – Kent Wide Salary - £24,964 - £27,000 DOE The Recruitment Manager will be involved in managing all elements of volunteering: The role involves assessing and meeting our organisation's needs through the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers. You'll manage volunteers and their relationships with those they come into contact with during the recruitment phases you’ll also monitor, evaluate, train and accredit volunteers. This is an important post requiring a genuine commitment to improving the lives of young people and families. The post-holder must be a positive role model for the young people and the whole family. Relevant qualifications/training will be required and candidates will need to possess a variety of skills, experience and personal attributes. This role is predominantly filed based with office administration required on a daily basis – the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from the following offices for administration duties – Thanet, Maidstone, Sittingbourne and Gravesend A Mobile phone and laptop will be provided along with expenses paid Main Responsibilities * Liaise with departments to understand how they work, develop partnerships and assess their volunteering needs * Generate appropriate volunteering opportunities and role descriptions based on the needs of the organisation * Raise staff awareness of the role and the function of volunteers * Ensure there is appropriate support and training for volunteers * Interview and recruit volunteers * Organise inductions and training * Monitor, support, motivate and accredit volunteers and their work * Offer advice and information to volunteers and external organisations * Organise profile-raising events to attract new volunteers * Attend committees and meetings * Manage budgets and resources * Keep up to date with legislation and policy * Maintain databases and undertake any other administrative duties.
