Job Description

I am now seeking a Recruitment Manager ( Interim ) who will be responsible for ensuring excellent practice in all aspects of my client`s staff recruitment. This will initially be a 6-9 months role. First class customer service and excellent administration are of paramount importance as they want candidates and managers to have the best possible experience of their recruitment. The ideal candidate will have experience of high-volume In-House recruitment, be conscientious, systematic, and extremely well organised with an eye for every detail from the point of identifying a vacancy to on-boarding. The Recruitment Manager will be accountable for the flow of information between hiring managers and HR, for the smooth running of each and every campaign, for the timely and accurate administration of all related paperwork and for continuous improvement in staff recruitment. With LogicMelon being introduced to the Recruitment team it will be the Recruitment Manager`s responsibility for guiding managers through the process, overseeing the Officer and Administrator in operating the system, and for reporting on progress and organisational statistics. - To plan, co-ordinate and oversee all staff recruitment activity ensuring the best possible preparation and implementation. - To work with hiring managers to define each role and draft clear, concise and effective recruitment materials (job descriptions, person specs, background information, and adverts) - To act as the system super user and administrator for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) - To advise on the use of media (and recruitment consultants where necessary) and to ensure that all recruitment adverts are cost-effective and in line with our brand - To ensure the timely and accurate flow of information on new starters to the payroll team The following are essential: - In-house experience of successfully planning and delivering high quality high volume staff recruitment (average of 30 new campaigns per month) - Excellent written English, copywriting skills and experience of drafting and editing recruitment materials - Systematic, extremely well-organised with an eye for every detail and the drive to spot and eradicate errors - Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen, to build and maintain good working relationships with people at all levels and to influence - Experience of successful contract negotiation - Friendly and outgoing with a strong customer service focus and the ability to convey the importance of excellent customer service to others - Experience of recruiting to specialist roles and running large-scale campaigns for a variety of jobs and skill sets - Extensive interviewing experience - Knowledge of web and press advertising media - Experience of using an ATS - Ability to absorb new information quickly, good judgment and sound decision making ability - Discreet and professional with experience of handling sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy - Knowledge of employment law and good practice - Numerate - Excellent IT skills including database experience - Willing to travel - Experience of managing or supervising staff - Degree level education
