New consultants complete a rigorous and practical on-going programme that gives them a thorough, practical grounding in all aspects of the recruitment process, whilst learning how Barrington James operate. The training, support and guidance we offer our Trainee Recruitment Consultants is spearheaded by a Sales Academy Manager. The Recruitment Managers position is a non-billing role entirely focused on the development and growth of others. Responsibilities – + Teach the foundations of recruitment to consultants with little to no experience + Give feedback on calls regularly through both on desk and off desk training sessions + Demonstrate to new starters how to do the job by making calls to clients and candidates yourself + Through “Show & Tell” help your team pick up new business + Conduct regular 1-2-1’s with staff to identify skill gaps and learning objectives + Consistently motivating staff by encouraging a positive working environment + Ensure that all new starters are progressing in accordance to the on-going programme we have in place + Teach new starters how to become self-sufficient i.e lead generating, client relationship development etc. + Guarantee all new starters know what they need to achieve on a daily basis to create profitable desk + Make certain that specific goals and targets are being hit on a regular basis + Be confident that after 12 weeks with a new starter they will be ready to be handed to a manager and run a 360 desk without significant support needed + Through implementing the above responsibilities you will improve the success rate of consultants who make it through “The Academy” Essential Requirements – + Previous management experience + Proven track record of billings + Longevity in previous roles + Extensive Sales Experience + Positive Mental Attitude + Strong sales ethics Preferable Requirements – + Teaching or coaching background, can be either educational or sports related.
