Recruitment Manager (Youth / Education Charity)  City Year UK is a youth social action charity which challenges 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time voluntary service. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, they support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK. Their ambition is that by 2020, ten years after launching in the UK, they will be in: five cities; with 500 corps members; reaching over 40,000 children each year.  Position: Recruitment Manager  Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester  Salary: £30,600 - £33,600 + up to 5% employer pension contributions  Closing date: 9am Monday 23rd May 2016  About the Role:  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing organisation that recruits and develops young leaders to transform the educational and social outcomes of pupils across the cities they work in.  The Recruitment Manager will be required to work strategically to plan and then manage the end-to-end recruitment process for posts within their Greater Manchester schools working in close collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also work in partnership with Universities, Colleges and aligned organisations establishing supportive and partnering relationships to deliver effective recruitment strategies and undertake outreach and cultivation activities to attract talent. deliver training and development sessions.  About You:  To be considered for this role, you will have a successful track record of managing end to end recruitment campaigns including experience of working with young people aged 18 to 25. With practical knowledge of recruitment systems and databases you will have recruitment marketing and communications experience, in particular producing and designing materials, updating websites and using social media to attract talent. You will also have knowledge of the education and youth sector and volunteering landscape.  Additionally, you will have experience of using a variety of recruitment assessment techniques and an understanding of basic employment law and legislation relating to recruitment and selection.
