Mears have an exciting opportunity available for a Recruitment Officer to join our company. The Recruitment Officer role will involve: * Responsible for the entire recruitment process from start to finish * With the Branch Manager, resource and develop the recruitment administration activities for the local area * Work with the Regional Recruiter in order to construct a detailed attraction plan * Advertise all adverts on social media (manage the Facebook recruitment page) and other online mediums * Attend various local events in order to source and find the right candidates for the branch * Liaise with our external recruitment agency on managing interview bookings * Conduct face to face interviews * Collate all the relevant information required from the candidate to ensure new employees are made compliant * Book new starters onto training * Monitor the recruitment activities and provide KPI's to the Branch Manager and Regional Recruiter on a weekly and monthly basis The successful Recruitment Officer will have: * Previous experience in recruitment * Good IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office * Experience using complex recruitment systems * Good verbal and written English skills * Good organisational skills * Able to demonstrate strong multi tasking skills * A full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK with access to your own transport * Comfortable with travelling around the local area to attend events and open days * Previous experience recruiting within the care industry (or equivalent) would be desirable Mears look for people who share our commitment to working in the community and who really want to make a positive difference to peoples lives.
