Recruitment Officer / Internal Recruiter role – 6 month contact. We’re looking for somebody who has worked in social care and understands the sector well; you may have worked in a role such as Care coordinator, care recruitment officer, care manager or Care Worker before and some experience of recruiting staff / managing recruitment processes would be beneficial. You’ll be responsible for internal recruitment of care staff within the organisation, managing vacancies, posting job adverts, conducting pre-screening calls, supporting with interviews and supporting with post offer compliance. The Recruiter Role As the Recruitment Officer you’ll provide support across the recruitment function in a very busy care organisation. They provide care to people in their own homes, through a variety of contracts. You’ll be supporting g them through busy period of growth and development, they’ve been awarded a number of contracts for which they need to recruit new staff for. As the Recruitment Officer you’ll be … * Placing and updating vacancies on job boards * Updating and circulating vacancies internally * Managing vacancies and scrutinising job boards * Review applications to identify suitable candidates * Conduct pre-screening telephone calls with candidates * Liaise with candidates during the application/interview process * Support with interviews * Support HR Admin with on-boarding (including pre-employment documentation) * Coordinate induction timetables * Conduct exit interviews * Promote job opportunities using the website and social media (e.g. LinkedIn and Facebook) The Successful Candidate It’s essential that you’ve worked in the care sector previously, and ideally in a role where you’ve held responsibility for recruiting such as recruitment officer, recruiter, care coordinator, care manager, care admin.
