The Recruitment Resourcer role is an entry level post, aiming to develop the skills required to progress to Recruitment Consultant. The role will focus on a generation of a consistent pipeline of new candidates through targeted recruitment activity within a geographical patch and assisting in account management of key clients within a larger territory. Recruitment Resourcers must be driven by the desire to gain the experience and expertise necessary to progress. Recruitment Resourcers are key to the business function in supporting an individual or a group of territories within a branch with all aspects of candidate generation and pre-employment checking, whilst working closely with experienced Recruitment Consultants to gain the necessary sales skills to prepare for the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will be; • Graduate calibre or experienced in an administrative role...experience of working in a sales environment would be ideal. • Interested in developing sales skills, with a view to moving on to a target driven, commission based sales role. • Diligent in checking details as they will have responsibility for checking candidate files are completed to strict Safeguarding and registration criteria. • An excellent written and verbal communicator, able to develop proficiency in communicating with the education workforce and senior client decision makers. • Have the ability to follow direction and work as part of a team. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsibility for candidate generation, clearance and maintenance, • Writing and placing job adverts, monitoring responses, • Searching CV databases and other sources for new candidates to contact, • Conducting candidate interviews, completing application forms, checking and photocopying documents etc, • Contacting candidates regarding availability and placements, • Checking and signing off files before passing to Compliance Team, ensuring Safeguarding and registration criteria are met, • Assisting with sending marketing to clients, • Answering and dealing with telephone enquiries, • Undertake ongoing training on how to use sales, business development, and marketing techniques to attract business from client schools/settings. • Being proactive in learning from colleagues, seeking opportunities to contribute to the success of the team, seek and fill bookings and generally uphold excellent levels of customer service at all times. • To build a solid understanding of legislation affecting the education sector and recruitment sector, and be able to use this knowledge to take responsibility for complying with industry standards and to provide a well-informed consultative service to clients and candidates. • Dependent on business needs some Recruitment Resourcers may also be responsible, with support, for managing a small portfolio of their own clients
