Job Description

Vertical Recruitment is an independent Recruitment Consultancy based in central Manchester. We specialise in Technical, Construction and Engineering and the Directors have over 20 years combined experience recruiting in these industries. We have built up a very strong Client base and an excellent reputation over the years. Our company is continuing to grow and develop and we are now looking to appoint a Recruitment Resourcer to work within our Property team. The role is working alongside a Director and Recruitment Consultant assisting in filling job vacancies for Architecture, Surveying and Project Management Clients. The individual we are looking for will have a sales background with at least 12 months experience in a Resourcing Recruitment role We see this appointment as a developing role within the company and we would expect the successful candidate to progress to full Recruitment Consultant status within 6-12 months. The role and responsibilities will include the following: * Screening candidates and matching them to suitable job roles * Searching our database and exploring employment opportunities with candidates * Searching job boards and writing ads for each role you are recruiting for * Conducting face to face candidate interviews * Taking candidate references * Attending Client meetings and networking events * Establishing contacts to help build the client database * General day-to-day administration tasks. What are we looking for? A Sales biased individual who preferably can demonstrate success in the Recruitment industry, a good level of intellect with a mind-set of being a high achiever. You must be highly driven, motivated and professional. We have a relaxed but professional atmosphere and want the right person who can fit in with our team while also driving to become a top performing Recruitment Consultant. Candidates must have the following: * Familiarity with Microsoft office * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * The ability to work on your own initiative and follow instructions clearly * Works well under pressure * Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask * Ability to interact positively at all levels within the company * Recent knowledge of working in a similar recruitment role within a professional working environment but this is not essential We are an emerging company with lots of ambition and we are keen to find someone who is looking to grow and develop with us.
