Job Description

Main purpose of the role: Responsible for sourcing and interviewing new agency support workers for residential settings, ensuring that there is a regular in-flow of candidates to the bookings team. This will typically be carried out within a defined geographical area and will be driven by projected service capacity requirements. * Resourcing potential new agency workers * Interviewing * Administration/Compliance Responsibilities * Dealing with incoming telephone queries on a daily basis. * Booking in regular interviews on receipt of application form. * Interviewing applicants to determine if they meet ENS criteria to go through recruitment process, including the checking of documentation. * To ensure candidates suitability including experience, skills, qualifications, training and vaccinations (if required). * Completing any additional checks required at badge collection or later to meet mandatory checks requirements. * Issuing new agency staff ID badges, and uniform as required. * Building and maintaining good relationships with agency workers and dealing with any issues or complaints that arise with the support of HR. * Supporting the Training Coordinator to ensure enough new agency staff are booked on courses (if required). * Liaising with Training Coordinator and Regional Manager regarding training courses required to meet the needs of agency staff being recruited and available across the branches. * Arranging and attending Job Fairs when required. * Arranging and attending open days as and when required * Working with the Bookings Consultants and Regional Manager to forecast agency staffing needs and work proactively to meet their agency staffing shortages. * Be pro- active in identifying new and innovative ways to attract agency staff. * Advertising for roles and using social media to attract new candidates. * Running recruitment projects for Recruitment Manager or Regional Manager when required. * Ensure vacancies are advertised in line with company policy and are advised to all suitable candidates * Knowledge: * To have a good working knowledge of service requirements in various sectors and an understanding of the diverse needs of certain clients. * Working knowledge of Word, Excel & other Office Applications. * To have a good working knowledge of CQC requirements and the Health and Social Care Act and other relevant legislation and to ensure compliance.
