Job Description

The main purpose of the sales consultant position role is to grow the temporary driving desk by generating new business. This can be by winning on going contracts for sickness, holiday cover and / or manning additional vehicles. Additionally we can provide temp to perm and / or straight perm drivers. There are additional options to earn commission for other types of supply through your contracts, eg Van drivers, commercial or industrial temps or perms. Another important part of the position is to recruit new workers to fill the new business generated. Duties will include but are not limited to • Current client calls o Developing and growing the existing business o Arranging service meetings o Ensuring excellent customer service is provided at all times • Identifying potential new clients Keeping up to date with new developments in the area Qualifying new clients’ needs Marketing and scoping out the area • New client sales calls and speculative calls o Quoting rates, sending client forms (ensuring they are all signed off) o Arranging new business meetings o Converting new clients • CV searching • Calling potential new candidates • Arranging interviews for new candidates o Quantifying whether they meet current recruitment requirements o Following Company Registration Policy o Ensuring successful drivers are passed to the driving team o Using verbal references to make potential new clients when possible • Ensuring company targets are met • Ensuring individual targets are met • Recording all information on Matchmaker • Answering the phones – dealing with anything required or passing to the correct member of the team • Answering the phones – passing to the correct member of the team • Supporting the rest of the team • Conduct good quality sales and recruitment activity levels as set out by the Company • Presentations • Strategic thinking / planning / think ahead • Selling out existing and new temps to new and existing clients • Creating solutions for client and temporary worker problems • Completing weekly reports Required skills: • Good PC skills. • Excellent telephone skills • Excellent customer service • Self-motivated • Hold a full driving licence • Have excellent planning skills • Presentation and public speaking skills • Ability to work to targets • Ability to be a team player • Cold calling
