My client create talent programs led by fashion industry icons who’s mission is to give talented creative people the opportunity they need to get the career they want. The Role You’re bright, motivated and you love the fashion Industry with a keen interest in Art direction and Styling. With a natural flair for sales and need to achieve goals you know how to manage a sales campaign, you know what to do when you’re not hitting the numbers on time, and you can quickly size up a potential customers’ needs and offer solutions to meet them. Talent Scouts identify top fashion talent around the globe, and convince them to apply for our programs. They review their applications, follow and interview process and enrol them onto our courses. They have a deep knowledge of how to initiate partnerships, pitch services and close deals. And they also know enough about fashion to pick out the kind of people who should be our customers. You’ll have specialist experience within the image making field knowing Art directors and photographers and have an interest in the other creative specialisations that make fashion such a vibrant industry. To be a success as a Talent Scout you must be passionate about what you do, have a strong work ethic, and be excited by the idea of working with talent from every country in the world. From Australia to Zimbabwe and Belize to Uganda and the USA, we mean it when we say we work with fashion talent globally. You’ll definitely need deep knowledge of the industry. How else are you going to tell good work from great, and great from exceptional? You’ll also have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations. We’re looking for eager, optimistic individuals who are willing to put themselves out there and don’t take "no" for an answer. The Team Talent Scouts work in our Program Teams. Each program that we run has a team who are responsible for every aspect of it. They run the marketing, sales, social media promotion, and they also devise, design and produce the programs themselves. You’ll work very closely with marketing and be responsible for acquisition. Our adverts, PR and events bring in potential customers and then you close them. On the phone, by text, over e-mail, you’re the one who makes contact with applicants and pitch them the benefits of learning with my client. It’s not all inbound sales. Each team has an Opportunities Manager, and you’ll work with them to identify global talent that you can approach with an offer of a place on a the program. You’ll be the voice of the student in your program team. Because you’re the one speaking to people and finding out what they’re looking for, you’ll have a unique take on our customers that others won’t have. And you’ll use that knowledge to influence the strategic direction that the company takes. You will: Manage sales campaigns and strict sales targets, working closely with marketing and other specialists to keep everything on schedule and on track. Track and report on key sales metrics. Identify, scout and pitch top global fashion talent. Attend industry events and talent meetings. Feed insights from the front line to other teams. Essential Skills: The ability to build strong business relationships quickly. Expert domain knowledge of the fashion industry (Photography, Art direction[1] , Styling, Graphics) Detail-oriented and process-driven with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects Flexibility to handle changing market conditions and workload under tight deadlines Solid interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of personality types Experience of meeting and exceeding targets in a sales or account management environment.
