Job Description

Sitec are currently looking to recruit a Recruitment SME - Business Analyst for a nuclear MoD establishment in Reading. The post is for an estimated 6 month contract and is paying competitively on an hourly basis. The role of Business Analyst sits within a dedicated Programme Team tasked with delivering an HR Transformation programme that will change the way our client manages and leads its people. The overall programme scope includes changes to HR Strategy, Policy, Process, Organisation Structure, People Capability, Systems (Workday & Saba) and Data Architecture. The Business Analyst will partner with the Heads of the HR functions and key business process stakeholders, outside of HR, to understand the current People Management processes and streamline these business processes to reduce complexity, achieve consistency and align with recommended best practice enabled by Workday & Saba systems. The Business Analyst will also work with the external suppliers as part of designing, configuring and testing the business processes. Accountabilities * Accountable to the Head of People Programme for the analysis, design and delivery of end-to-end People Management processes as part of the programme * Accountable for the development and maintenance of the process alignment and delivery plan identifying interdependencies between the functional processes * Ensure coordination and consistency between the HR functions in designing future state business processes * Ensure management of the external interdependencies between business processes * Ensure timely delivery of the key deliverables at required quality, as defined in the Programme Plan Responsibilities * Developing and delivering the process alignment and delivery plan for the Programme in line with the HR Services model, ensuring that all the critical activities, dependencies, controls, technology interfaces etc. are identified * Understanding the current People Management processes and identifying the potential issues with these processes * Working closely with the HR Functional Leads, Process SMEs, the Workday System Integrator and Business stakeholders (such as IS and Security) to understand the issues with the current processes and recommend strategic improvements * Identifying opportunities for process and policy simplification and standardisation * Effectively manage change control across the proposed People Management processes * Understanding the configuration of the business processes in the relevant business systems and identifying system constraints where relevant * Delivering clear, complete and accurate documentation that covers all the relevant deliverables defined in the Programme Plan * Working closely with other members of the Programme Team to ensure coordination of activities and consistency in the delivery of information Skills * Business Analysis * Good knowledge of HR core processes * Design and facilitation of effective process analysis and design workshops * Knowledge of managing people related processes on Enterprise grade applications (ERP, HCM) Stakeholder engagement and management up to Senior Management level * Knowledge of Workday Business Process Taxonomy (Preferred) * Knowledge of SaaS/Cloud applications (Preferred) Experience * Successful delivery of at least one end to end HR Transformation initiative * Track record of successful delivery of relevant full lifecycle business transformation programmes/projects * Previous experience of design and delivery of end to end People Management processes * Recruitment process experience * Willing and able to obtain the Security Clearance required for the role.
