Job Description

We are seeking an experienced recruiter with at least 2 years experience within the legal sector to provide a full 360 recruitment service to the firm. Duties • Manage and plan for all current and future resourcing requirements. • Liaise with HODS, Partners and Line Managers to understand recruitment needs and to draw up a Job description based upon these needs. • Provide guidance and advice when required to recruiting managers and candidates • Advise and decide on the most appropriate recruitment solution for positions taking into account budgeted Recruitment spend, agency and advertising costs. • Focus on direct hires for all business support roles & Junior FE roles with a view to minimising recruitment agency requirements and minimising costs. • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring job briefs are in line with the business / functional needs, individuals are recruited within the timeframes specified • Field applications, interview, liaise with advertising agencies, headhunt as required • Develop, and initiate where appropriate, relationships with partners • Manage recruitment from interview to offer stage • Devise resourcing strategy and manage the full recruitment cycle. • Manage recruitment campaigns using Job boards, social media and agencies • Manage the Applicant Tracking System for generic recruitment and Graduate recruitment • Negotiate reasonable rates and terms of businesses with Agencies and advertising resources • Represent the business at recruitment events and careers fairs • Ownership for the professional delivery of recruitment events - planning and organizing and point of contact • Ensure all recruitment administration is undertaken in a timely and professional manner • Review recruitment processes and recommend improvements. • Ensure all recruitment activity is in adherence to the Recruitment and Selection Policy and compliant with equality & Diversity policies and legislation. • Advertise vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example newspapers, websites, magazines - the most suitable and costs effective for the role. • Manage interviews - book rooms, enter in diaries, provide cv's • Feedback to all interviewees within 7 days of the interview • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression • Ensure all pay rates, offers and contract terms are authorised by hiring managers. • Reviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes • Quarterly meeting with the Managing Partner to discuss current and future recruitment needs • Manage all recruitment spend and budget for future recruitment spend • Identifying talent and bring them to the attention of the directors • Screening and selection process • Promoting the Thrings brand • Identify new methods of candidate attraction Manage all trainee recruitment • Liaise with Head of HR to establish trainee needs • Liaise with the HR department and Training manager to ensure application form meet the needs of the business • Advertise trainee positions • Manage and control all applications • Short list applications for telephone interview • Arrange and manage telephone interviews • Short list and invite candidates to assessment days • Arrange assessment days • Attend all assessment days and ensure the smooth running of the day • Feedback to candidates • Make offers where applicable • Ensure HR are aware of offers and have all relevant information for contracts etc • Plan for future trainee recruitment in line with the needs of the business • Ensure feedback is taken into account from previous Trainee recruitment for future recruitment
