We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Specialist to join our exciting Financial Adviser School. We are looking for the Recruitment Specialist to promote The Financial Adviser School's proposition to potential students and sponsoring Advisor firms as well as wider stakeholders within the industry to support the strategic growth planned for the School. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement of the process and service with the ultimate outcome of increasing the numbers of quality financial advisers and access to advice by UK consumers Key Responsibilities: Achieve targeted levels of * New students into Financial Adviser School (FAS) * Non sponsored students placed in Advice Firms This will be through: * Development of the annual FAS Recruitment Plan * Support to the development of all FAS literature and brochure ware - paper based and online * Professionally represent the FAS and OMW to external and internal stakeholders and customers at industry events and other promotional exhibitions * Build relationships with Internal and External Advice Firms, Platforms, Providers, Asset Managers etc to support proactive prospecting for sponsored students promoting the proposition, fees and USPs, by telephone and F2F * Build relationships with Universities, relevant Agencies and non-industry Institutions to proactive prospect for non-sponsored students * Build and use relationships with Advice firms to help place non sponsored students or find mentors to support them while working with FAS * Follow up and document all leads through to completion in a timely manner, using the school's documented procedures * Guide each lead through the recruitment process, ensuring that fair decisions are made about the candidates' suitability to progress to each stage * Support the design, continuous improvement and delivery of the FAS candidate assessment centre model * Documenting each candidate's suitability for the programme and career as a financial adviser as evidenced by the results of the recruitment process * Maintain an expert knowledge on the FAS proposition - the curriculum, fees and financing * Provide Advice firms and other stakeholders supporting recruitment activity with accurate and timely responses to all enquiries about recruitment and training through FAS * Work with Adviser Firms to help plan their activity to identify and recruit trainees and/or consider non-sponsored students starting or within the FAS programme * Assist in the development of the FAS proposition by collecting customer feedback, competitor and market intelligence and sharing information with the Head of FAS * Support the training team with attendance at training and induction events where required * Maintain a general awareness of industry initiatives and regulatory change. * Assist in projects as and when required, to develop the business and/or to achieve its objectives Qualifications required: * Educated to degree level and/or proven track record in a recruitment role * Proficient MS Office user, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience required: * At least 5 year's experience in recruitment within a white collar or financial services sector (distribution sales would be beneficial) * Experience of recruiting internships/graduates would be beneficial About Us: Old Mutual Wealth (OMW) is the largest wealth management business in the UK with funds under management in excess of £100bn.
