Adecco delighted to be supporting one of our clients in Bangor. We are seeking a recruitment support worker to help grow this Charitable organisation in their Volunteer base. You will be responsible for the recruitment of the charity's volunteer force and manage the relations with existing volunteers. This is a Temporary Contract based in Bangor. 1 To manage the Volunteer resource of the company. 2 To ensure that there are sufficient volunteer resources to meet ongoing client needs of the company. 3 To recruit and interview volunteers ensuring they are appropriately matched for positions within the company. 4 To organise and maintain volunteer rotas in a timely manner. 5 To provide adequate inductions and provide or source appropriate training for Volunteers. 6 To create a volunteer handbook which will include e.g. induction process, policies and procedures. 7 To monitor, support and motivate the volunteer resource. 8 To organise profile-raising events and opportunities to attract new volunteers. 9 To celebrate volunteering by organising an annual event for the Volunteers. 10 Any other duties within the scope of the post deemed appropriate by the Chief Executive. Requirements: 2 years' relevant computer & administrative experience in the past 5 years or equivalent to include the majority of the following; Working in a busy office environment Organising & prioritising a workload Use of email and databases Experience of working with confidential information Experience of collating information into reports Awareness of volunteering good practice, strategy and policy. An understanding of current legislation and policy in relation to older people. Awareness of data protection legislation and requirements and the importance of confidentiality. An understanding of current volunteering techniques and methods Computer literacy (including Microsoft Office, Publisher and Excel).
