Job Description

Tradewind Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Recruitment Team Administrator to join Avon and Somerset Constabulary. The successful candidate will ensure all work is delivered to a high standard within agreed timescales and parameters and in line with Client and Southwest One procedures. Main Duties: To be responsible and accountable for the overall and day-to-day to support of an entire recruitment process; this will involve providing support, advice and updating the Hiring Manager as required as well as liaising with candidates both in writing and verbally To act as day-to-day contact, providing general advice to candidates and Hiring Managers, keeping in mind customer focus and customer excellence and ensuring that levels of service, quality and availability meet or exceed any agreed Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreement and/or organisational targets To issue resolution – dealing with where appropriate and identifying corrective and preventive actions, flagging or escalating to Senior Recruiter and/or Recruitment Team Manager To maintain and update manual and computer systems To provide less experienced recruiters with advice, guidance, quality assuring and training new starters To attend open days/career fairs/ assessment centres as appropriate To write adverts – uses initiative to make recommendations for improvement To respond to all correspondence and actions in timely response in line with Southwest One’s HR Charter and KPI’s To assist with all aspects of Uniform and Volunteer recruitment when required and to attend assessment centres if required To contribute to the team morale/culture, positively influencing the working environment Essential Skills & Experience needed: Sound understanding of an office environment in order to provide effective administrative support Sound customer/client relation skills are required combined with an understanding of data protection and confidentiality issues Methodical and consistent approach to the organisation of workload with an attention to detail and accuracy Experience of working to tight deadlines, prioritising own workload and the ability to work flexibly and effectively and on own initiative and as part of a team Experience of MS office packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel Understanding of ethnic, religious and cultural diversity Job Requirements: Must have a minimum of 2 years recent experience working within the same or similar capacity GCSE mathematics and English – Grade C or above, or equivalent Good ICT skills, in particular typing/Word Our promise to you: A highly experienced recruitment consultant who will provide you with regular updates about vacancies across the UK Career guidance alongside our free CV writing service Free yearly DBS disclosures Prompt and reliable payroll service Excellent aftercare service Refer a friend bonus – terms and conditions apply Due to a high volume of applications we receive, we are only able to respond to applications who meet the needs of our clients
