Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE2 Salary: Competitive + bonus etc. Due to our continued success and accelerated growth plans, we have a requirement for a Recruitment Team Leader. The Role The successful candidate will lead a team of Sales Recruitment Consultants to promote durhamlane’s commercial recruitment offering (Sales Graduates and Experienced Sales Hires) to UK and International clients. Reporting to the Sales Recruitment Manager you will be responsible for both your own output and also the development and output of your team. This will include regular coaching and development to ensure maximum productivity. You will also be responsible for the continuous success of client delivery work, client review meetings and reviewing all weekly updates as well as candidate management. The Candidate You will be committed with a burning passion, desire and drive to succeed in recruitment, and help scale our recruitment business, whilst building your career. Experience of people management would be ideal, but not essential, as you must be eager to develop and grow. Experience working with different business types and demonstrated success at all stages of the recruitment sales cycle is desirable. You must be adept at navigating accounts to explore business issues and impacts; you will be comfortable communicating with C-level executives, with a focus on selling value tied to measurable business benefits. You must be adept at managing your time and able to juggle projects and priorities – as your team could be working with 10 different clients (or more) and it’s up to you to know what’s happening with them all. Skills & Expertise • Demonstrable success in recruitment or with durhamlane. • A consultative mind-set with the ability to evangelise a solution aligned to a customer’s business strategy. • Knowledge of leadership and development methods. • Experience in enabling continuous process improvement to drive recruitment productivity, using digital platforms where relevant. • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others by understanding their needs. • Ability to translate the vision and goals of durhamlane in line with client delivery work. • Appreciation of competence or evidence-based recruitment selection methods. • Work in tandem with the wider leadership team; contribute to meetings, strategy and business plans. • Flexible and willing to go the extra mile for the benefit of the team & company • Strong communication skills at all levels of the business. • Ability to effectively manage a team - deal with confrontation, HR issues and have difficult conversations with your peers. • Be the ‘face of the company’ with clients being delivered by your team. • Lead by example – and be able to demonstrate this in both behaviour and ability. • Awareness of relevant legislative changes impacting recruitment best practices in the UK and Europe
