Job Description

Regional Recruitment Consultant opportunities with The Babington Group. Due to continued success we are now looking to recruit a Regional Recruitment Consultants within the midlands area. The Team Our Recruitment team have 18 recruitment Consultants who work on a regional basis, covering all of Babington Group locations. Their role is to engage new employers to take Apprentices into their business, typically within the SME market. Once an opportunity has been opened, the Recruitment Consultant will work with the Learner Engagement Support Team to source, screen and supply a candidate for interview and to secure an Apprenticeship position. The Role This is a proactive role and you will be responsible for identifying and gaining new clients /accounts across multiple sectors. You will develop relationships with employers and learners to achieve your monthly targets and key performance indicators. Principle Accountabilities Develop a talent pool of candidates and work to place them appropriately within employer network. Prepare candidates for interview, going through interview preparation and interview techniques. Responsible for placing the right candidates with the right employers, to ensure high levels of success and retention. Manage data entry of CRM, internal software systems, Caseload Management and MI Reports. Provide daily report of performance to Recruitment Team Leader Ensure all individual KPIs and objectives are achieved Engage in a blend of hot/warm/cold calling to engage prospective apprentices using a variety of channels daily. Responsible for visiting employers and conducting Health & Safety vetting of potential premises. Responsible for ensuring prospective apprentices are eligible for funded programmes and suitable for employment Maintain and grow a pipeline of vacancies, to place predominantly, 16-18 year olds in apprenticeships Attend events as and when required to support recruitment process Maintain the relationship between employers within pipeline Establish interviews for apprentices with employers via a matching service Complete all paperwork to compliance standards for each apprenticeship start. Work within the team to achieve team targets and share best practice. The Person The ideal candidate will have experience of selling within Apprenticeship/Government funded training and have a good awareness of the local labour market. This role requires you to be a self-starter with a passion for success. Confidentiality The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients, staff and other Babington Group stakeholders. Some work is of a confidential nature and information gained must not be communicated to other persons except in the recognised course of duty. The post holder must meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act at all times. Health & Safety Employees must comply with the provisions of the ‘The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974’ and must take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions whilst at work. Employees are also required to co-operate with their employer to enable them to perform or comply with any statutory provisions.
