A Leading welfare to work organisation is looking for a passionate individual to join there team as a Regional Recruitment Manager. This opportunity will be working on the National Citizen Service Programme which is helping young adults all over England gain valuable life skills. This position will be based in the Huyton area but covers the whole of Merseyside and Cheshire. The role holder will manage and lead the regional recruitment team to meet demanding targets and deliver the strategy to recruit young people onto the National Citizen Service Programme. This will be done by promoting the National Citizen Service Programme to all young people in the region through various recruitment events many of which will be centres of further education. Responsibilities: * To develop, implement and manage the strategy for attraction and recruitment of young people onto NCS * To work closely with the National Marketing Manager to deliver the strategy for NCS marketing on a regional basis * To liaise and work closely with all Corporate departments to ensure a cohesive approach to NCS * To support the National Recruitment Manager to plan effectively for peak recruitment and staffing requirements * To maintain a consistent recruitment performance through regular reviews and observations of the recruitment team * To work closely with the Contact Centre Manager to ensure Expressions of Interest are followed up and converted to sign-up’s within agreed timescales and to manage keep warm communications post sign-up * Liaising regularly with the Local Supply Chain Manager for the allocation of young people to Local Delivery Partners and to make certain all contract obligations are adhered to * Analysis of key trends and data in order to adapt the recruitment strategy and ensure consistent performance for each delivery season * Managing a team of around 12 individuals * Working to demanding targets and time lines in order to meet and exceed objectives set Knowledge and Experience * Experience of managing teams driven by targets * Ability to adapt to change and manage change throughout the team * Experience of working with or managing teams that deliver services to Young People * Experience of building relationships at a senior level within the education sector * Knowledge of the needs of young people aged 16 -17 * Strong written communication skills (able to write objectively and concisely) to produce professional, unambiguous reports and documents * Experience of engaging and managing senior stakeholders, ideally in a further education setting Requirements * This role involves travel throughout the region and will require transport * Educated to Degree level * Ability to work under pressure in a target driven environment * Excellent IT Skills * Ability to communicate confidently and professionally at all levels * Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing, presentation and the ability to motivate others * Understanding of the needs and working practices of differing organisations * A background in education ideally Candidates will need to be available Friday 20th of January 2017 to attend interview For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, when advertising permanent vacancies we are acting as an Employment Agency, and when advertising temporary/contract vacancies we are acting as an Employment Business
