Job Description

As part of a small team to manage the bookings and utilisation of resources in the programmatic space. You will also be required to manage the recruitment process from the selection of candidates, to the on boarding of the candidates on their first day. Manage Resources * Log resource requests within SLA and update spreadsheet * Pass resource requests on to team leads for action * Maintain resource model of all staff and contractors across the portfolio looking at future demand * Measure future demand and plan resource activity * Arrange monthly meetings with the projects and team leads to look at resource requirements for the next FY * Ensure team leads agree resource demands * Identify potential areas of resource conflict or contention and escalate if necessary * Use resource model to monitor “hot spot” demand and over/under utilisation levels * Manage the vetting pipeline and keep stakeholders informed of timescales for incoming resources * Manage the resources going into vetting and make an assessment on the prioritisation of resources into vetting Recruitment * Work with the onsite supplier to arrange offsite recruitment events to fulfil the future resource needs * Shortlist candidates’ CVs for events * Create/maintain the tools used at recruitment events to ensure they are fit for purpose * Arrange candidate interviews with supplier and client managers * Support where required, with interviews * Make offers to successful candidates and look to see you get the best value for the client * Manage candidates through the vetting process On boarding * Work with the onsite teams to arrange suitable induction and start dates for new starters * Meet with new starters on their first day and ensure their IT is set up and working * Diary manage all new starters first day * Introduce new starters to their programme * Maintain new starter pack Administration * Complete security paperwork for candidates prior to interviews for all contractors * Obtain financial approval from hiring manager to Direct of Finance for all contractors
