Job Description

We are working with a long standing Training Provider who has offices across Lancashire. They offer vocational training programmes that support individuals into skilled employment such as; Warehousing, Hospitality, Health and Social Care, Business admin, Customer Service, IT, Employability, Team leader and Management. Due to further expansion in their Work Based Learning division they have created a new opportunity for a Sales and Recruitment Officer to develop relationships with large Levy employers and SME’s to meet their training needs through the delivery of Apprenticeship programmes. Core Skills and role specifics * Research prospective companies in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement for Apprenticeship delivery. * Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients to take on Apprentices. * Collaborate with colleagues and management to ensure that requirements are met. * Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned: key account management. * Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning with in the Apprenticeship sector and Government funded programmes. * Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors in FE and Apprenticeship Training Providers. * Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical analysis software. * Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. * Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements from a Training Needs Analysis. * Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner. * Motivation and hunger to succeed is key to this role * Proven business development and sales experience * Experience of working with Ley and apprenticeships/government funding is an advantage however not essential * Proven track record of successfully meeting targets * Patient and able to handle customer rejection * Strong attention to detail * Clean driving licence Person Specification * Communicating Effectively * Delivering Results * Valuing Diversity and Integrity * Delivering exceptional customer service * Building Effective Relationships * Full clean driving licence Basic up to £25k depending on experience + quarterly bonus This role will require an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
