The Tameside Centre for Enterprise was established to create new businesses and support existing businesses in Greater Manchester, and we are now recruiting for a Sales and Recruitment Team Leader. The team as a whole provide central sales and recruitment services for apprenticeships and other College contracts managed through the work-based team to existing and new employers/customers. Answering day to day enquiries from young people and employers, college staff and outside bodies in an efficient manner, you will be responsible for apprenticeship vacancy generation, the recruitment of apprentices and customers for contracts managed through the College’s Work Based Learning team. The role of the Team Leader is to manage the Sales and Recruitment Officers in the achievement of sales and recruitment targets, ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules and audit requirements. Candidates for this role must hold relevant experience of employer engagement in relation to sales and recruitment for apprenticeships/work-based training and be able to communicate effectively with industrial, educational and professional contacts.
