Are you an experienced and successful sales person with a business services or learning sector background? Are you target driven and experienced in employer engagement and account management? Do you want to work for a market leader in apprenticeships? Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. What will the role involve? You’ll engage with small and medium sized enterprises to promote and sell the full range of learndirect apprenticeship products and services. You’ll provide a full sales and account management service, ensuring the employer receives an exceptional learndirect experience. You’ll manage your own diary and work a 37.5 hour week, with your working pattern determined by the needs of employers and learners. You’ll carry out a range of business development activities including cold calling, foot marketing, and employer presentations to target and secure apprenticeship opportunities with prospective employers. You’ll be involved in candidate registrations and be responsible for accessing and updating our e-portfolio and Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) systems. We can only consider and respond to applications that meet the below criteria. To be successful as a Sales Consultant at learndirect you must be passionate about sales and people. You’ll need effective communication skills and have a proven ability to adapt your approach to meet the needs of a range of stakeholders. You will be ambitious and target driven and demonstrate that you are highly resourceful, energetic, resilient, and be able to use your initiative. Ideally you will come from a Recruitment Sales background but the key requirement is relevant Business to Business sales experience. It’s critical that you can manage your time and diary, so that you can work independently, flexibly, and can respond to change positively. You must be comfortable and proficient in working with a range of IT packages to ensure you are able to access and utilise the technology available.
