Sales Manager, £50K Basic+Commisison, Central London A unique and exciting opportunity to lead recruitment advertising sales at one of the UK’s most successful digital media startups, working with top employers and innovative, market-leading products. Our client is hiring a Recruitment Advertising Partnerships Manager to join their UK commercial team. You will be responsible for generating leads and closing sales in the recruitment advertising market for their unique branded content solutions, accountable for all new business and renewals. They're looking for an autonomous and driven salesperson motivated by driving market-first innovation and who shares our belief market-leading creative can drive market-leading ROI. A salesperson who is passionate about the industry, determined to continue challenging the status quo in graduate recruitment marketing and take on the challenge of selling an offering new clients will never have used before. Our client is the voice of students and the UK’s largest and most influential student media brand. Their network of more than 2,000 student journalists is managed by full-time editors in our London HQ, and publishes stories and videos which reach and influence more than 3m UK students every month. They have led a creative revolution in graduate recruitment marketing, developing innovative market-specific branded content products and award-nominated creative concepts. Their recruitment advertising partners include JP Morgan, EY, Arcadia, HSBC, NHS, KPMG, P&G, Unilever, Bloomberg, and TeachFirst, and their campaigns include The Future 100, Society of the Year, Captain of the Year, The Nova Prize, How Banking Works and The Tab’s Careers Guides. In 2018, their creative partnerships have earned them the first-ever media nominations at the RMAs (3 nominations) and the RADs (2 nominations). Responsibilities * Drive awareness and consideration of the brand as a marketing partner among target clients * Use expert knowledge of their branded content-led recruitment marketing solutions to successfully consult clients based on their individual objectives * Lead UK Recruitment Advertising sales: identifying target clients, prospecting, understanding client needs, pitching clients face-to-face, building relationships, negotiation and closing * Increase year-on-year spend from existing clients, win and develop spend from new clients * Be the market expert and educator on Recruitment Advertising internally What you will be judged on * Strength of relationships with a variety of stakeholders at existing and potential clients * Ability to identify where and how we can work with clients to drive exciting ROI and brand lift * Sales performance Requirements * 5+ years recruitment advertising sales experience, selling to both agencies and clients directly * Strong relationships and references from a broad range of clients/contacts * Expert knowledge of market trends and activity across the recruitment advertising ecosystem * Expert knowledge and client relationships in the entry level talent market (preferred) Strengths * Your mentality is positive, resilient and ambitious * You are an excellent relationship-builder * You are a clear and positive communicator, and you work well as part of a team * You take feedback well and you are always eager to learn * You figure things out for yourself For more information on this role get in touch with Angela Izard at Morgan Rutherford Associates ltd
