SALES PERSON – DESIGN CONSULTANCY & RECRUITMENT SALES Our business Established in 1990, we work with local, national and international organizations that have a need for technical design and drawing support in both traditional 2D drawings and 3D computer generated models. Our Customers benefit because they can more accurately match their design and drawing demands with our specialist resource. We offer uniquely focused technical recruitment within Design and Drawing Office/CAD posts and are looking to expand the department to include all Technical Recruitment positions. This involves long term; short term or permanent requirements. We are REC registered (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) The Role The purpose of this role is to generate profitable design office and recruitment sales for the business, looking after existing customers and bringing new customers on board with the aim of growing the business while maintaining targeted margin rates. • Proactively seek new business from new customers and new business from existing customers by managing their accounts, explore existing markets and cross sell. Primarily, the focus must be on new business from new customers • Carry out site sales visits where necessary, aided by Design Office as necessary • Manage / progress sales calls • Customer account management • Manage / monitor / grow candidate database • Candidate interviewing / assessment as required (telephone and in person) • Candidate skill matching • Departmental administration – supported by Administrator / Resourcer Key skills Previous recruitment and mechanical design sales experience would be an advantage as would knowledge of the engineering sector, including mechanical prototyping and build; You will be a confident individual able to manage your own role; Effective communicator – in person and over the phone – as you will be required to deal with both customers, candidates, contractors and internal staff; You will need a motivated sales attitude as you will be proactively involved in stimulating departmental and, therefore, company growth through development of our existing recruitment function; You will offer excellent customer service to new, potential and existing clients and candidates. The Package This position is full time Salary is negotiable, subject to experience.
