Job Description

Job Title: Senior Recruitment Consultant

Reports to: Head of Division

Job purpose:     

•   Builds a constant stream of new business opportunities through advanced daily sales and business development activities to build new client accounts as well as servicing, retaining and growing existing client relationships


Experience to include:

  • Previous technology recruitment experience
  • Proven background in a full 360 role
  • Area of expertise covering one of the following:
    • Development
    • Infrastructure / Support
    • Data Analytics
    • Cyber Security
    • Niche Applications

Main Responsibilities:

•   Demonstrates the 360 sales approach daily to generate new business and maintain existing clients

•   Proactive high level CV marketing

•   Effectively sells and cross sells the different recruitment solutions and services Cititec can offer

•   Networks with clients and candidates to obtain new leads

•   Demonstrates a regular stream of business

•   Identifies appropriate candidates to match client job specifications

•   Ensures candidates are accurately matched and prepared for client interview

•   Builds relationships with clients and candidates to develop trust and commitment

•   Ensures vacancies are advertised appropriately and conform to client requirements

•   Monitors contractors, negotiate renewals/replacements as required

•   Visits clients regularly to identify future strategy and requirements for the business

•  Networks with clients and candidates to obtain new names, client information and sales leads

•  Controls the placement process and maintains contact with the client and candidate throughout

•  Develops knowledge of relevant market sectors, clients and technical skills used within those sectors

•  Keeps up to date with market intelligence and activity within relevant clients/markets/technologies

•  Identifies key selling points of vacancies/client companies in order to sell effectively to candidates

•  Understands and works to the processes stipulated by clients for the submission of CVs

•   Provides information to clients regarding availability of candidates in specific sectors/technical areas and work with them to identify and sell the most appropriate solution for them

Other Duties:


•   Develops skills and competencies in using databases effectively

•   Keeps databases up to date and record all interactions with candidates/clients

•   Records the progress of the recruitment process and feedback from clients

•   Ensures accuracy of information


Ad Hoc:


•  Provides information, ideas and suggestions for improvement of systems and procedures

•  Reports any problems or issues at the earliest opportunity to facilitate speedy correction

•  Keeps candidates up to date on the progress of their applications
