The Senior IT Resourcer / Recruiter Role: You’ll be working in the growth area of £80m turnover professional services company, due to the success of our Services business, we’re recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated Senior IT Resourcer to join our established in-house Resourcing team. Our Resourcing team supports the core of our services business, actively involved in the go to market activity, supporting the full services catalogue and targeted opportunities in our end client accounts. You’ll be encouraged and supported to build lasting business relationships and to source best in market associates against specific company and market demand, you should be organised and results focused with an awareness and interest in current and developing technologies and trends. In your role, you will rely on your research and resourcing skills, tenacity and excellent communication skills to be successful. We use multiple channels to engage and are always open to new initiatives, you must be comfortable with all forms and be prepared to use them creatively. You should be comfortable communicating with people operating at all levels in a professional manner in order to create a positive and lasting impression. Key Responsibilities: + identify, establish and grow networks of suitable candidates for specific markets using more than one communication channel + assess candidate interest and suitability for a specific demand whilst creating interest and awareness for a future opportunity or demand + develop a good understanding of client companies and build key relationships + advertise vacancies, draft and place adverts in a range of media, using social media, job boards and industry websites + identify and target passive candidates who may not be currently looking for new opportunities + prepare CV’s, own candidate and client correspondence + negotiate pay rates, contract margins and finalise arrangements between client and candidates + work towards and exceed targets that relate to the number of candidates placed, as well as targeted leads generated + build and develop long lasting relationships with clients, candidates and associates. Senior IT Resourcer / Recruiter Required Skills and Experience: + previous recruitment / resourcing experience gained within the IT industry + previous sales and negotiating skills - the ability to generate new business as well as maintain and develop opportunities within a designated portfolio + an awareness and interest of new technologies and trends + experience with Social Media Applications + goal-orientated, tenacious and results driven approach to work with the ability to meet and exceed expectations, targets and deadlines + excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to influence and articulate an opinion effectively + excellent interpersonal skills + a natural flair for delivering high levels of customer service + robust and resilient in approach – the confidence to challenge and 'push back’ when required + an enquiring mind with a logical approach to work, combined with analytical and problem-solving skills + excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise + keen eye for detail, placing a great importance on accuracy and attention to detail + a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision + team player – understands the importance of collaborative working + excellent administrative skills including accurate data capture and processing. Qualifications: Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) Location: Based from our Head Office at Wisborough Green (Guildford 30 minutes, Horsham 20 minutes). Hours: 9.00am to 5.30pm / Monday to Friday. (37.5hrs per week) Salary: Up to £40,000 with commission and bonus package.
