About the role Surrey Fire and Rescue Service has the responsibility of protecting over one million people who live in the 650 square miles of Surrey. Would you like to join the Recruitment Team for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service in their journey which involves leading, managing and coordinating effective and efficient recruitment for all appointments across the Fire and Rescue Service? Do you possess the following skills and experience: •Effective time management •Ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •Experience of owning recruitment processes from start to finish •Ability to work as a team to achieve a collective goal •Excellent IT skills •High level administrative skills •Excellent organisation skills We are looking for an experienced individual to work in our Recruitment Team, managing recruitment both internally and externally and with the opportunity to assist with projects which are linked to our People and Equality and Diversity Agenda. The role will require engaging with internal and external groups to develop and implement initiatives, promoting SFRS as an employer of choice to individuals, building strong relationships, demonstrating expertise in the power of communication. This role will sit within the Transformation Programme and be integral to supporting the work of the Community Protection Group through engaging and building relationships with our key stakeholders and managing projects through to successful delivery. To be shortlisted for this position we are looking for candidates that: •Have experience of planning and coordinating recruitment processes from start to finish •Are able to work collaboratively with internal and external partners •Are experienced in organising and managing all aspects of recruitment events •Are comfortable to analyse data to inform trends and establishment needs In addition to the above you will be educated to A level standard and/or have relevant experience
