We are currently looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to start as soon as possible, for a permanent role with commission well above the industry standard. Our hours of work are 0730 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch. On occasion out of hours work is also required to fulfill the role requirements. Please consider this carefully as the hours are non-negotiable. This is an exciting role in a fast paced environment. You must have experience in runing an education recruitment desk. We are offering a competitive, negotiable salary which will depend on experience and what we think candidates will bring to the role. Support and training will be given but we need a recruiter with experience, who can hit the ground running. You will be expected to help manage the office during times the current Manager is on business or on holiday. In this role you will be working with local schools, interviewing teachers and selecting suitable candidates. This is a 360 role in which you will carry out the full role from staff selection right through to placing staff in client schools. You will be building up your own client base to work with, however this is a warm desk with current leads. This will be an excellent chance for you to develop yourself in a rapidly expanding company. Experience of working in schools is beneficial but not essential. Our company is based in Sunderland but we provide staff to schools across the NE. You must be happy to make sales calls and you must be organised and self-motivated to succeed in this role. In addition you must be a driver and have access to a car to visit clients. We have free parking , full pension, 30 days holiday per annum, Friday finish early and significantly reduced hours during the school holidays (6.5 hour day).
